Filomena is one of those restaurants in Georgetown I’ve been meaning to eat at for the longest time but hadn’t had an excuse…until Cassie came to town last week! We went in for a lunch and came out three-courses fuller, happier, and astounded by how AMAZING the food was! The lunch special included a choice of appetizers, pasta or chicken Parmesan, and a choice of dessert.

Cassie chose the ravioli, which was actually baked on the outside, forming a nice crisp shell around the cheese. The ravioli was topped with a bit of breading, which added great texture to each bite. We KNEW we were off to a great start from the appetizers alone, but the perfectly recommended glass of merlot made our lunch more enjoyable.
