The last night of spring break, I had a powerful craving for Taiwanese beef noodles and xiaochi-type snacks, so mom, brother, and I went to Mama Liang’s for a quick bite. Juan bing (卷餅) is definitely not the healthiest, but it satisfied my craving for something crispy (the fried wrapper), umami (beef filling), and filling (fried carbs and meat all rolled up mmmm).
