Just as you can’t possibly dislike muffins (ohhh double negatives),  I don’t see how you could dislike autumn flavors. Koren baked three batches of muffins last night – spiced pumpkin, apple cinnamon, and blueberry. Pictured above are the Autumn muffins as I thought of them, one pumpkin on left and one apple on right. It may not yet be autumn, but the scent of the baking in our house last night certainly got me thinking about apple cider, heaps of dried leaves, and fall accessories.

Hopefully when classes start in about a month, I’ll be ready for the gradual onset of fall – ready to start my last academic year as an undergrad, and for the arrival of pumpkin spiced lattes, butternut squash soups, and apple cinnamon muffins.
