Priya’s Mont Blanc:

“A Mont Blanc (or Mont-Blanc aux marrons) is a French dessert of puréed, sweetened chestnuts topped with whipped cream. The name comes from Mont Blanc, as it resembles a snow-capped mountain.” (via Wikipedia)

One jar of Dean & Deluca chestnut puree went into both cake and cream – no mere-whipped cream! The melted nugget of dark chocolate and almond hidden beneath the “mountain” of cream was a lovely surprise.
