Zong Zi Festival

Dragonboat Festival took place last week (though the traditional date, according to this year’s lunar calendar, fell on the 6th of June). Everyone’s favorite Dragonboat Festival tradition, whereby many zong zi’s are eaten, is actually a holiday rooted in history and legend that celebrates patriotism and poetry.
