Methinks Sprinkles on M Street will do quite well for itself. These days, I’ll pick Sprinkles over Georgetown Cupcake – the signature red velvet is far less oily, the portions are bigger, and the lines are frustratingly long. Of course, Sprinkles’ signature circular fondant-buttons taste like dried playdough, but you can always pick it off.
